Is it just me or is this movie a rip-off of the simpsons episode where Lisa and Bart go to military school

No, it's a rip off of a movie called Private Benjaman I think, which was about a kid in military school made a long time ago.

No, Private Benjamin is about a spoilt rich woman (Goldie Hawn) who joins the army after her husband dies on their wedding night. And it wasn't that long ago...
