Back in LOTC I was in the armed drill team. Putting aside issues on critism on realism in the movie, ROTC, JROTC and LOTC cadets, what is your opinion on the drill chrography. I personally thought the USMC JROTC guys were great.

shareThe USMC JROTC Drill Team was the team from Rahway High School in Rahway, NJ. I know because I was a freshman when they made the movie, and I later went on to become the Commanding Officer of the team. Their routine was their very own, and they are former National Champions. They should be included on the cast list....
shareI was in the varsity unarmed drill team in high school. I enjoyed the drill from those USMC JROTC cadets. I am not one to criticize but honestly at the end when those two cadets were doing their individual drill it looked more like the Jane Fonda workout. I did my individual drill and it was much more precise and well it didn't look like a dance routine. It won me 1st place. Still have my trophy. My brother was in the varsity armed drill team and never once did I hear an "uhh" when they were tossing rifles around. I like hilliary duff but this is not one of her best movies that's for sure.

I dont remember the drill teams performance and know I really wish I did so i could compare to my teams routine. Anyone know when Disney will air it again, or if they'll air it again?

I thought the USMC JROTC team had excellent execution, though they could've used a little more precision. At the end when they're at present arms, their rifles are unaligned; some are leaning too far back, others too far forward. Overall, though, they did a great job.
The team of Kelly's school was so-and-so as far as I'm concerned. They weren't crappy beyond belief, but they were just barely good enough to count as a drill team.
