Cadet Kelly is much better. Cadet Kelly is one of the best DCOM films in my opinion. Not that it is an accurate portrayal of life at a military academy, but it is an entertaining show. Both Hilary Duff and Christy Carlson Romano did a good job of acting with the rest of the cast doing a good job of supporting the lead roles. The plot made sense for the most part, in spite of the obvious holes in it, unlike the one in Get a Clue.
On the other hand Get a Clue was poorly written as the incredibly lame plot and dialog clearly show. The acting was some of the worst I've ever seen in a DCOM show, for which I mostly blame the director. They clearly were just using Lindsay Lohan's name to attract viewers. The only thing it has going for it is that there was no foul language, no senseless violence or sexual innuendos.
Cadet Kelly is worth watching while Get a Clue is better skipped unless you're a big fan of Lindsay Lohan.
