Why Chris Tucker filming only in Rush Hour?

1998,2001,2007-only in Rush Hour.Why???

Maybe he just wanted to save his efforts for something worth watching. Lot of people like Rush Hour stuff.

He has done other things. His break out movie was Friday. His best work was as Ruby Rhod (The Fifth Element )and Skippy
(Dead Presidents) His role in the latter movie was more serious and he did a real good job. I wish he would do more serious roles.

Because if he makes other movies, his gimmick of funny black man will get old.

He made a ton of money doing the rush hour films.

If he had made some bad movies inbetween, people would have gotten tired of him
