I just watched this movie on HBO.
Did anyone notice after Carter leaves Lee's room angrily Lee turns on the TV and sees -- the beginning of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, where Indy tries to get his antidote and Short Round drives the car there to get him and Willie Scott? Could this be a response to Carter's and Lee's dispute?
Yeah, it was a sort of ironic racism joke -- Lee saw African men on TV and was reminded of Carter, and Carter saw Short Round and was reminded of Lee. Then Lee ordered fried chicken and sweet potato pie, and Carter ordered Chinese food.
shareAnd then to top it off, Carter is seen enjoying that street guitarist singing Beach Boys. There was a good bit of homage to the first two movies in RH3.
