The deaths of Main villains in the Rush Hour series *SPOILERS!*

Why do they use the same death of the main villain in all 3 movies?

*SPOILERS*

1. Griffin/Juntao falls off a ledge and hits a fountain
2. Ricky Tan gets jump kicked out a window and falls on a taxi
3. Kenji falls off the Eiffel Tower and hits a newspaper stand

I mean, no offense, but could the producers of Rush Hour just be more imaginative about the villains' deaths? When I saw 2 and 3 I knew it was coming.

actually, in this one the main villain is Reynard. i think Kenji turns good in the end a few moments before he plummets to his death, lol.

ye but when the ambassador comes to kill the duo, he gets shot and falls in a fountain. Not sure if it counts though...

I think its called a running theme. Lots of series have them.

It's probably due to Jackie Chan. He is a 'good guy' like Batman and doesn't kill anyone, including villains. So the villains accidentally fall to their death.

I don't mind the trend so much, always makes for a thrilling finale.

What I didn't like was the computer usage in this installment.

Actually, Kenji committed suicide to save Lee.

They were both hanging on the rope web thing, and it was starting to tear off. Kenji knew that they would both die but Lee insisted on saving both of them although it was damn near impossible. Kenji said a final goodbye to Lee, and forced his hand away from Lee's and BAM!! right into the ticket booth, lmao.

Poor Lee, I felt sorry for him when he cried
