I thought 2 was terrible, heard this one was bad, but it was great.

I loved the first rush hour, while I dont think its jackie's best, its definitely one of his best. I was excited about rush hour 2 but thought it was more of the same and just didnt find it that funny, and that was that. I didn't even bother with Rush Hour 3, especially after the crap I heard. But the other day my dad sad, you havent seen it yet, so we rented it, and I just saw it today for the first time and I couldn't stop laughing. While one has the best story I would say, this one had some great jokes, I loved the "I'm broke back Carter" line. The action scenes were good, the setting of paris was a good fit, and it seemed like the chemistry was back between Chan and Tucker. Honestly I hope a fourth gets made now because there has once again raised my expectations.

I thought 2 was good, 1 was the best and I did not care for this one.

I agree ShadesMagna.

This installment was made in a hurry because it was long overdue. Chris Tucker was nearly replaced and it took a lot of convincing for him to stay. The result was nothing original and rehashes of jokes and gags from the first two films combined.

reply

I agree with you. I enjoyed the first one. Almost turned the second one off because I was a bit bored and Chris Tucker was just "screaming" way too much. And then, I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed the third one so much.

I didn't care for Rush Hour 2, it was ok. I thought 3 would suck, but it turned out to be my favorite one.

You thought Rush Hour 2 was one of Jackie's best? Wow...

The first two were pretty funny. The jokes in this one are so forced and unfunny and the chemistry isn't nearly as good between the two. I honestly thought the IMDB rating would be in the 3's but after seeing the score I remembered that most people are retarded.

First two are my favorite. The third one was funny to me when I first saw it in theaters, but upon the second viewing I found it entirely forgettable.

this ones good and watchable. it could be worse. the only thing that grinds me though is the little girl with perfect english in the first one growing up with a total fob english accent...

I thought all three were great.

Agreed. While the first film is probably the best, and the quality decreases with each sequel, I still enjoy the trilogy as a whole. They're just so much fun to watch

Yep! The jokes really did seem forced and yes the chemistry was severely lacking. Rush Hour 3 is definitely my least favorite one out of the franchise. I enjoy both the first Rush Hour and Rush Hour 2. But Rush Hour 3 fell short to me, it seemed like they just rehashed and recycled things from the first two movies, it also seemed rushed, and a lot of the jokes were just off or unfunny. The most I did during this movie was crack a smile here and there but to me there weren't "laugh out loud" moments like there were in the previous Rush Hours. I really think Rush Hour 3 should have just not been made because to me it isn't good.

>>> it also seemed rushed

Well, the movie is called Rush Hour...

It should be against the law to use 'LOL'; unless you really did LOL!

These movies are like most franchises, each one a little bit worse than the last. For me, even tired and worn out Rush Hour 3 is still better than most other movies of the genre.

Really? 2 was awesome in my opinion.. 3 was just plain bad, its like they just made the movie for the sake of making it, didnt evoke any of the other feelings that the previous movies did.

Rush hour 2 was always so quotable to me lol i've watched it so many times i love acting out Tucker's parts xD this movie was really funny!

When Carter hopped onstage and started singing "Don't stop til u Get Enough" LOL epic. Rush Hour 2 is still one of my favorite movies. I agree it was hilarious and I also enjoy the first Rush Hour as well.

The first movie is a classic. I saw Rush Hour 3 for the first time today and it was great I enjoyed it me and my sister did. Its hard to pick which one I like between 2 and 3 because part 2 was pretty and good and funny. I guess my order would go like this Rush hour 1, 3, and 2.
