Was this movie set in a world where gloves don't exist?

First of all in the burglary, the man didn't wear gloves and he got his hands all over the jewelry cases which he wasn't planning on taking. Then later in the movie, Andy and Hank didn't wear gloves when they robbed the dealer and then Andy freaked out about whether or not Hank touched anything. Anybody else notice these things?

Didn't make a difference in the end.
It's in Hank's nature / character to *beep* something like that up and Andy was in a spiral when he robbed the sweet H den.
