SPOILER - Did Andy (PSH) tell that Jeweler in the Diamond District...

About the impending robbery he was planning???? I doubt it. However, when the father, Charles (Albert Finney), stopped by that same old man jeweler in the Diamond district, looking for any potential clues as to his wife's murderer, the old man handed him Andy's card. But, I don't think that the old man knew anything about Andy's involvement in the murder. Why did he hand Charles Andy's card? Andy did walk in and get a few thousand dollars for I believe a diamond need klace, but I don't think that that was a stolen necklace from the robbery...the robbery was a bust, with nothing stolen and two dead people.

How did Charles immediately connect his son Andy to the murder of his wife/Andy's mother? I know he was staking out a building as well, ftom his car, but it wasn, t Andy who walked out of that building.

I know the fsther sees Andy being wheeled out into the street on the stretcher, and Andy confesses to the crime on his hospital bed. However, how did the father know to go to the address of the sister of Hank's accomplice (who's dead) in the first place?

1. Andy visited the Jeweler as he knew he was a fence and Andy was saying i will have some stuff for you soon, check me out that i'm not a co,giving him his card.

2.the Jeweler knew the father from the past and he recognized Andy

3.The Jeweler put two and two together worked out Andy robbed his Parent's store.

4.The Father followed Andy in his car, to the drug dealer and to the Brother/Sister(Widow)
