This is interesting - we see that Andy and Hank worked for the same company.

Andy was an accountant, but Hank? What was his role - agent? He was always broke.

Andy was middle management. He had his own office and was involved in conferences.
Hank was just an office worker. The bottom rung of the corporate ladder. Andy probably got him the job in the first place

I believe Andy was more than middle management, he was in charge of payroll.

Thats where he got in trouble

he was paying for non-existent employees thru the company and takeing their money---embezelment--

He had pretty much control of the money flow, and was faceing an audit

Andy was in a position to steal a lot more money than he was getting from the robbery, it made no sense really the robbery

That's the whole poijt of the attempted heist... Hank hatched the plan as a way to cover some of the money he's stolen from the company (this seems the most likely scenario anyway).

Yes, he was definitely stealing money from the company. That was pretty much spelled out for us. The robbery was a way to get the money back before the audit and have some left over to move to Rio.

I dont think he was going to give any money back to the company. Andy and Gina talked about Brazil and that they dont have an extradition treaty with the US. So I figure he would take all the money with him.
