Is This Show Even On Anymore??

Every Friday i'd just chill and watch it when it would come on IFC but this past month or 2 i haven't seen it on at all! I miss watching it because no matter who is on it's still entertaining to watch people talk about their jobs. Any word on what happened to this show ?? or whats going on with it?

I want to know for sure as well.

I started a thread on Dinner for Five's webforum that Jon Favreau (extremely rarely) posts on, asking the same thing.

Hopefully they're just on hiatus and for some stupid reason have decided to stop showing reruns even.

It would seem to be the dumbest thing ever to cancel it when it's

1: IFC's highest rated program

2: Just been nominated for an Emmy

However dumber things have been done in the past.

on edit: I just checked the air dates for shows past.

It looks like they only have 13 episodes per season. And the 13th episode of the 4th season aired in June (the one with Giovanni Ribisi, Adam Goldberg, and Christina Ricci).

And there's been a 5 and half month hiatus in between seasons for the last 2 breaks. Meaning we'll have to wait until late November or Early December if they keep the same pace, for new episodes.

However I REALLY hope they start showing reruns. I still havn't seen the vast majority of the shows.

Yeah I also like watching the reruns because I know there's a handful of episodes that i've missed. Plus, when the show was on hiatus they still showed reruns often. I haven't seen any lately just that weird hour of new shows they got. I still miss Dinner for Five though.

I've noticed for the past two years, they've done a Dinner For Five marathon on IFC on Thanksgiving Day. If they do it again this Thanksgiving (which is just three weeks away) you can use that as your opportunity to catch up on the ones you missed. My favorite from the season was the one with Tim Blake Nelson and Dax Shephard, those guys are hilarious! What's your favorite ep from this season?

I wonder if we can E-mail IFC to do just that.

I have also been wondering, where the *beep* is this show????? I missed a ton of earlier episodes and I would love to see reruns. Goddamn you IFC!!!

Awww that sucks ass that its ended...why does this happen to all the great shows out there? As for the new line of shows out now..The Festival, Hopeless Pictures, Greg The Bunny...i don't really find them too entertaining. I remember watching Greg the Bunny on FOX and it still wasn't that funny to me, The Festival is ehh, well i haven't really given it a chance but i catch a few minutes of it here and there and it's not too appealing, Hopeless pictures looks entertaining but i haven't fully watched it.
I just really really miss Dinner for Five
One of my favorite episodes is when he had Faison Love and Alan Cumming, and Gina Gershon. John talks about how he first met Faison and Faison talks about how lame "Torque" was. ha ha.
