David Milch's story about David Caruso

I never got an appreciation for what a jerk everyone thinks David Caruso is until the latest episode. David Milch tells a story about when they worked togther on "NYPD Blue" -- he and Caruso were arguing, and Milch started having a heart attack. He didn't want to seem like he was giving up, so he kept it up until Caruso left, then went right to the hospital. Among his insults toward Caruso were "no-talent."

Jay Mohr is in the episode too. He's a funny enough guy, but where does he come off being so arrogant? From his Oscar-winning turn in "Jane Austen's Mafia"?

"Good gravy!"
"Thank you. It's just brown and water."

So you're saying that Caruso plays himself on CSI Miami(get it? 'cause he plays an *beep*
And as far as Jay goes, I don't blame him for having an ego. He's a goodlooking millionare famous comedian. It pretty much goes w/ the territory

Jay Mohr came off as a completely annoying dick, in my opinion. And Favreau's invited way more famous, talented and/or rich people who weren't like that, so it's not just his relative level of success.

I guess I'm evil because I found Milch's story about having a heart attack pretty funny, in a sick way. However, I was under the impression that Milch was trying not to let on that he was having a heart attack -- so I don't think Caruso was knowingly arguing with a guy in the middle of a heart attack. Not that Caruso isn't a jackass in other respects, but I'm hesitant to get on his case for that particular sin.
