The first credit you see at the end of the show (in Season 1 anyway) is "Exectutive Producer: Peter Billingsley".
This can't possibly be the same lad who starred so wonderfully in "A Christmas Story" all those years ago, all growed up, can it??? If so, wow, there truly are second acts in showbiz...

This is the same Peter Billingsly. I saw a marathon last year and he and Favreau were doing the promos and introducing the episodes.

Yes, it's him. He was also one of the elves at the North Pole in "Elf," also directed by Favreau (or maybe produced - can't remember at the moment). Anyway, they're old friends.
shareIf you check out Jon's MySpace page, under his pics is a great one of him and Peter Billingsley with the guns they are using on the new movie Jon is directing (and I'm assuming with PB). He points out that Peter is holding a Red Ryder BB gun. Funny guys.
shareThere was a great story of when Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau were trying to make it in Hollywood. They would go clubbing together with Peter Billingsley. Vince would try to sweet talk to the doorman to get in and was always shot down. So he would always bring to light that Ralphie from "A Christmas Story" was with them and that subsequnetly always got them in. I believe it was in the commentary or making of' for "Made".
