It's a format which is tried from time to time and doesn't always work well: Michael Portillo has one going on BBC4 just nw where they talk about political issues. Ruby's was good.
Ruby did it, yes, but the roster of names on the level of understanding in terms of "insider Hollywood" that Dinner for Five garnered made it a different, possibly better, viewing experience.
