Randy is the new Julian
I've been reading several messages/threads about how far the show has fallen in quality. No disputes here. However, the one interesting thing that gets better, rather than worse, throughout the current season is how Randy has developed as the moral center, of sorts. That's a crazy thing to consider when reflecting on his Dirty Burger/Lucy's Baby era, but the unexpectedness is what gives it power narratively. So perhaps the key for the next season is to basically reboot the style (not the plot) of the series to clear the slate, and have Randy serve the function that Julian did in season 1. The rebootquel approach could work if they craft the scripts carefully to dovetail occasionally with the events of season one, only with Randy as the guy who needs to defend the park and its honor.
