Season 7 feels like the ending... like there shouldn't be more.

Honestly, season 7 feels like the end. I just finished it. The last episode of season 7 seems like the series was meant to end there. I enjoy watching the show but that really felt like the ending.

please watch the end of season 6 and explain how the ending of season 7 was better.. i much prefered season 6s ending.. it was the one final happy ending where even lahey felt like a winner. everyone was all friends again.

season 7 ended just like every other seasons 1 - 5.

I completely agree. That should've been the end of it. From what I've heard, it was meant to be the end of it and they were going to just do movies but then they took a movie idea and turned it into Season 7, which was pretty dumb.

Season 7 certainly feels like the end of the series but that was apparently when the show originally got canned, and then brought back by Netflix.

It was the end. They brought it back, that's all.

More accurately it was the end for the original crew. As I followed it my impression was the three main actors kept it alive through stage shows (they may have bought rights at some point, I vaguely remember hearing) which were popular enough, and a big web presence (swearnet), then they were able to make season 8 (?on their own 'network'?? Help me out here) and the popularity was enough for more official seasons to eventually be commissioned by Netflix. And here were are. So there's a huge gap in production after season 7.
