Wss Brent a good boss but the TV/Fame ruined him?

I personally always had a theory that Brent was a good boss, but the show ruined him.(Tokfocus off his job with the fame etc)

Their were very sneak previews when he acted himself(possible before the documentary), for example when describing the appraisals, when he was saying Gareth was overeating to the disciplining the person he found having a affair with the Girl that was staying at his house.

He was often put forward as a good boss, and a few years back he won paper merchant of the year.

I think the biggest evidence for me that he was a good boss prior documentary was the fact that the slough branch was performing better than the Swindon Branch, had it not been for a failed medical, he would have been Neils senior.

Any thoughts, or am i talking crap?

Good points, although, it shows even in 2001, their were/are things that were acceptable to do, that would no way happen now.

The bit where they are all commentating on the new temp girls looks, and the ware house people treatment of their boss.

Would you PLEASE stop saying "their were"?

How hard is it to know the difference between 'there' and 'their'?

I'm not sure he was good, but I'm guessing that being in the documentary made him a lot worse. He sees himself as an entertainer and a rebel. No doubt he wanted to show that off for the audience.

I'd have worked for him. He was so desperate for admiration, all you'd have to do for a promotion/free beer and perks is to laugh at his antics, which admittedly were often funny.
