Does Donald Trump == David Brent??

I recently re-watched the whole series and couldn't help but notice the striking similarities between Brent and Trump :

- Insulting and sexist towards women
- Clearly racist but attempts to show he isn't
- Believes he's a best friend and loved by everyone
- Says everything on his mind instead of holding back inappropriate thoughts
- Constantly seeking attention and approval of others
- Huge ego with no basis in reality
- Their universe completely revolves around themselves
- No real sympathy or empathy towards others
- Very thin skinned, becomes unhinged at the slightest criticism
- Never does any ACTUAL work - wants to farm it out to the 'best' people

Anyone else agree or notice this??

This is such a great show, and I guess if David Brent started with a millionaire father, he'd be Prime Minister of Britain!
