Director REALLY needed a script. And less contempt for humanity.

It was a good idea to show a revenge flick in reverse order. I give points for that. However that is the only notable thing about this movie.

First, nearly all of the dialog is improvised. Badly. Characters are either swearing at each other in rage or engaging in the most banal friendship-talk imaginable. I have no idea why director's find this acceptable. An inflated sense of ego is the only reason I can think of. (I CAN FILM ANYTHING AND IT'S GREAT!!!)

Secondly, the first 25 minutes or so is filmed with the deliberate intention to cause seizure. Flailing and spinning cameras, flashing colored lights, intermittent blackness, and lots of motion -- all on top of a bizarre soundtrack. I understand "trying to disorient" as an artistic point, but Jesus, for 25 minutes? What the hell is your problem? The graphic suffering you show isn't enough -- we need to be physically nauseous before it even starts?

As I say, contempt for humanity. He's trying to torture the audience. That's not art.

If you took that out (or at least 90% of it) and had a script, this would have been a pretty decent movie. It does emote well, and the acting is good, and the reverse story really adds something. But with its terrible flaws, it's a 4/10.
