When Marcus and Alex were talking about her period she was only a few days late. Pierre was bought up and the party. This leads me to believe its all the same day/night. But at the very end shes got a bump, no scars or anything. Do you think its just a hypothetical situation that WOULD of took place had she not been raped? theres no way it can be before the bedroom scene you dont show for at least 10 to 12 weeks

shareCertainly. Bump or no bump, considering the reverse chronology, it would be logical for that scene to occur after the pregnancy test she (ie while Marcus is still out to buy liqour). It leads me to think it was either a dream, or maybe her thoughts during a daydream. She wears the same dress in the park. That changes my interpretation of the film chronicling just this one day of their lives.
shareThe entire film is shown in reverse chronological order and there is no reason to think the final scene, after she discovers she is pregnant with the test, is anything other than a time long in the past when she was pregnant before.
Perhaps she miscarried in that era and now that she is pregnant once again, she is happy because she believed she might never become pregnant again ... Perhaps her early pregnancy and miscarriage led to her breakup with Pierre thru their inability to deal with the loss ...

shareDo you recall when Alex and Marcus are in bed and are awaken by Pierre's call ? Alex says she had a dream about a red tunnel that breaks, she says she think is about her period and that she's late. On that same conversation Marcus says that his right arm hurts.
I believe that as in many other movies of this kind, it is open to interpretation. Did everything that happened earlier (or after according to the movie narrative) was a dream ? was there a break in time-space and an alternate reality happened and things instead of moving backwards began to move forward ? (Alex showing a belly). All is possible
