Girl's Just Want To Have Fun at the end...

I wonder if anyone else caught this...

...but this is a true testament to how excellent this film is....

The entire film Uma (and all the other women) are searching for love in all the wrong places, to the point that Uma is making herself "hysterically blind" over it...

Essentially they are searching for marriage- a RING.

They are initially on the grass (as what appears to be every day) and ignoring what they have around them- each other- bickering and trying to find this quest for a ring as "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" is playing in the background in a foreshadowing warning.

The end reprises the song and they are more appreciative of each other... and just being with each other- just having fun with each other. They actually do have it good....

AND justttt in case you didn't get it....when she looks to her hands...the camera's shift into focus. She is wearing TONS of rings- basically- her life is filled with love. It might not be the ring she was lookin' for, but love is all around her...just not on the finger she wanted.

The meaning of life is not a husband.

I wish girls knew this.

This is one of the most brilliant movies of all time.

That is the exact interpretation i got from it. They are looking so hopelessly for that love that they already have around them, and they seem to finally embrace it at the end! Your right.

It was very well done :)
