new season? aka rumor

I heard that a new season is coming out in Japan this year and it'll be dubbed by next year. Has anyone else heard it? Is it true?

reply

I've only heard rumours, and not read up on it, but it does appear that they will be doing another series of InuYasha now that the manga is complete.

In fact, i'm pretty sure of it...

I just hope they use the same voice actors if they dub it

reply

Even though i'm not fond of the english dub, i'd think it'd be worse if they change the voice-actors. It'd sound too weird their voices going from one thing to another.

It's one thing scaring me about Fullmetal Alcemist, the fact that Aaron Dismuke probably won't come back to play Alphonse.

ive been watching the new full metal episodes on this one website an al still has the same voice for all i can tell but the whole show is pretty much a let down so far...i thought it was gonna take place after the movie but it takes place in what looks like the middle of the first season

reply

Really? :o

I usually dislike dubs, but I actually really love InuYasha's English voice better than his Japanese voice.

reply

I think I heard something like this. Or I just hope they'd make new episodes. If they do, I hope they don't get new voice dubs for the English version.

reply

really finally??!!!? I've been waiting on new season's for years!! I need the English version of coarse, but i'm just glad there making new season's possibly!!

reply

I highly guarantee that they will, especially since Viz Media acquired the English dubbing rights as they had before. So, I'm quite sure they WILL have the same voices. Not to mention, since Viz Media collaborates with Adult Swim with a lot of the Anime, InuYasha will, no doubt, be showing on there. I am quite happy with this news!

I HOPE THEY DO. ITS THE GREATEST CARTOON EVER MADE. NO COMPETITION.

The rest of the manga is just so great and I wish we could see it on screen.
The emotional death of some characters, the appearance of Byakuya, and of course the finale.
Come one Japanese studios, bring Inuyasha back as you did for Fullmetal Alchemist!!!

It's 100% true check it out...
