Desperate Question

So I've known about this show for a few years through a friend, and only a few weeks ago did I decide to start watching. Now I'm hooked. I spend half my time online looking up different things on the show, and some of the things I've come across say that the series has ended. Other things I've read say that they're still airing new episodes, but on what channel (being in the States) they air on besides Adult Swim (and they're currently airing epsidoes from what I think is the fifth season), I don't know. I'm sick of the mixed messages I keep reading. I know that the manga ended, has the anime ended, too?

The anime DID end too, well before the manga. There are seven seasons to the original anime, I believe. Right now, they're continuing it in Japan as Inuyasha: The Final Act. You can watch it here:

It's only airing in Japan right now the new episodes. Theyre called Inuyasha the Final Act. Next week is the final, final episode lol.
