Do you think that they will make a 2nd series...? (Possible Spoilers)

I wonder if they would make a 2nd series that picks up after Kagome and Inuyasha have children, also Sango and Miroku, and the have Shippo as sorta the leader. Maybe Kagome and Inuyasha called have twins both with Demon powers from Inuyasha and then when they are in their dormant form the could have spiritual powers from Kagome, and then Sango and Miroku's children would have demon fighting skills on top of spiritual powers.

So that would be 2 children from Inuyasha and Kagome
and then there would be 3 from Sango and Miroku
and then there also would be Shippo.

And then the original gang Inuyasha, Kagome, Sango, and Miroku could lend a hand in difficult battles.

And maybe Totosi would forge weapons for Kagome and Inuyasha kids and one for Shippo. Of course they would have to have a persistent enemy. And then even the Kagome being stuck in the feudal period her knowledge would allow her to become an excellent healer, and maybe she could also have learned a special skill while in high school that could help the group. Of course this is just a thrown ideal.

I actually would LOVE to see them come out with a 5th movie!

I very much doubt it. Honestly, how often have you seen a franchise jump to a completely different generation of characters after spending so long with one set? They'd only make more Inuyasha material if they were doing it to bank on the popularity of the existing characters, and without any more manga to base story arcs on, I expect the most they'd do would be another movie.

Actually, I tend to agree here. I think it's more reasonable to expect one last movie, although I wouldn't mind watching a new "The Next Generation" type of series, in a similar vein to Star Trek: The Next Generation.

It'd kill a series. And it'll never happen because Rumiko Takahashi is done her manga.
