Is anyone else annoyed by Kagome?

So far I'm enjoying the series a lot (I'm on the 40th episode), but sometimes i cant stand listening to Kagome. Is it just me, or does she always say/think to her self the most obvious *beep* that's already made well aware to the audience? lol, she talks too much!!! All in all, its still a great show. 8/10

Are you watching dubbed or subbed? Recently I've found Monica's voice for Kagome a little annoying. But at the same time I don't actually care that much because I've seen the series at least 6 times through and anyone else as Kagome sounds a bit off to me (Although I watched the Final Act in Japanese, and she didn't sound bad). Anyway. I think from episode one Kagome has been the designated narrator... because if you think about it, she's pretty much the main character, even though the show's called Inuyasha. You can disagree with me on that one if you'd like, but the anime's general story seems to follow Kagome--and she's also the one who does the narration at the beginning of the episode sometimes, (where she'll sometimes say something like, "I thought I was going to have a normal birthday. That is, until I fell down the Bone-eaters well on my family's shrine. I was so scared when I arrived, that I ran straight to the sacred tree. That's where I met Inuyasha, who was pinned to the tree by an arrow. He's rude, he's crude, and he says he hates me. But if we can find all the shards of the Shikon jewel, that's all that matters, right?") Lol, I made that one up except for the last two sentences, but she does that a few times throughout the series and I'm just like, "...k." But I think it's more for people who watch it on TV. Because it used to come on once a week when it first started airing, so I reckon people had a distant memory of what happened. As for saying obvious things, there's usually a character in an anime that has to let the audience know that they now know what's up. And since Kagome already loves to talk to herself in her head... why not her?
