how did this show end??? - Inuyasha (2002) Discussion

Well They stopped making episodes but... NO the show is FAR from over.
The manga (which the show is based off of) kept going LONG after the show stopped an if the show ever gets picked up again (actually is looking like a maybe) it'll pick up where it left off.

Well basically it ends exactly like a regular episode. No one dies that is important, Kagome an Inuyasha don't admit there feelings, Sanga an Miroku don't get together, Sesshomaru still is traveling with Jaken an Rin.

Really NOTHING happens to end the series, Everyone just promises to kill Naraku, thats it. Nothing progresses, Nothing Finished, it was not a real ending.

Actually, the Manga ended in June of 2008, so I am definitely hoping that they continue the series. Although, it probably is wishful thinking...

This is a major spoiler, but in the mangas Kagome and Inu, end up together as well as sango and miroku. Go to wiki it explains it!

No It was pretty popular actually, the reason they stopped it is because When they started the show all the episodes were based of the manga and they were only about halfway through the whole manga when the show started. Pretty soon they started making more episodes for tv faster then they could make a chapter in the manga until they finally caught up with the manga with tv episodes so they decided they had to stop it because they didn't have a story for the episodes which were based off the manga.

But Now alot of fans believe that now the manga is finished it really might start up again and I really hope so.

Actually the manga finally ended this year on June 18th in Japan...you can find some halfway decent translations online...I have seen some rumors on the anime boards that since the manga has been around for 12 years and is still very popular in Japan there is a chance that the anime will be restarted...I would not expect to see anything new before 2012...

Read at your own discretion for spoilers, or unresolved conflicts. The manga ends peacefully, while the anime ends unresolved and just all bubbly because the characters all are pumped to kill Naraku, and Kagome narrates some empowering speech. I felt like I had been wasted of an episode... *sigh*

If you want to watch more, just try going to find Rumiko's other works. She tends to make chars like Kagome and Inuyasha in her earlier works. That's the best bet, for now. Or re-watch episodes you like.

It ended awful. It leaves it wide open. Still chasing naraku. Inuyasha had to use the jewel chard to get them out of a naraku trap so they all would not die.
