anybody else like Bankotsu?

I just saw ihm in the band of seven and really liked him and felt sorry for him in the end

I'm at that story arc right now. He's the only one left of the band of seven right now. I got to say, I really liked this story arc. Bankotsu is a really great character. I liked most of the band of seven, or at least how they were portrayed.

I HATED Ginkotsu though. I couldn't take him saying "Gesh" over and over and over. Every time he died I cheered, only to be disappointed by his revival. I still half expect him to show up again just to say "Gesh" one more time.

Thanks for the reply, can't believe I only knew about this series 11 years too late

would have been nice to discuss this with people

I really loved his look, what with the long, black braid and the really awesome outfit. Of course, Banryu, that sword was huge.

I thought he was hot. That's all, honestly.

One of my anime crushes. Uber hot!!! Long black braid, tan skin, cocky demeanor and a huge sword. YES, PLEASE!!!

He was an entertaining enough villain. It was also interesting in the end when he showed that even he had a sort of code and wasn't completely devoid of morality, in his own way. Even Inuyasha gave him a bit of respect for that, after he died.

I wasn't crazy about the band of seven in general but they weren't bad. Except Ginkotsu. I hated Ginkotsu. Not just because he was annoying but because the technology he wielded was way too advanced for their era, like several hundred years too early. I found that a constant, irritating distraction. I know this is a fantasy series about a world filled with demons and all, but even so the show should adhere to SOME lines of realism.
