I first watched this movie really late at night in a half asleep mood and when it ended i was so confused that i watched it agian the next day so i could unerstand the movie but agian im lost.Im a big fan of abstract offbeat movies my fav. directer is david lynch. But i just dont get this film.

- wasted Turturro's (and others') talent
- wasted the audience's emotional energy
- wasted everyone's time
- and lastly and most unfortunately, wasted a great deal of money...
It's reported that his film company went bankrupt after the making and release of this film. Sad, because this film had some promise and it went NOWHERE.
And I believe it is shameful to compare to Lynch just because this guy uses a few hard-to-understand color shots that do not fit the scene transitions.
Even Alfred Hitchcock, which by far has been one of the most innovative, successful, remarkable, and talented Directors of all time said to give the audience some sort of closure (I think he used the word "end") or that the audience would become antagonized.
