Finally Bought Fear X

Just as the store's online website indicated, Fear X was in their bin at the store. But it was in the cheap videos section under no particular order. It was a miracle I found it. The sheriff department's Special Agents reviewed the security tapes and produced the photo of the killer. Then his friend Phil produces the videos of the actual incident. Why didn't Harry get access to the surveillance videos sooner? It seems to me that the cop, Peter, during Harry and Claire's visit to Montana got Claire pregnant and he rented the house across the street to keep the affair going and keep an eye on her. Why else would Peter's wife appear on the negatives on the floor of the house? And why did Harry watch Claire walk to the house? Why did Harry tear up when Claire had the test stick? Peter wanted Claire to get an abortion and after she refused Peter shot Claire and then shot the cop who happened to be in the wrong place? Whatever happened, Harry knows much more than he is willing to reveal. Were Harry and Claire swingers? Was Claire a prostitute? Was Peter dispatched to assasinate the corrupt cop and set Claire up in the process?
