Skip season four?

Just finished season three and doesn't really leave many loose ends so is it best to just stop there?

Things are mostly wrapped up nicely, and considering most characters aren't seen again is it best to not bother finding season four? I get the feeling season four will just frustrate me. Towards the end of three it was not so great, until Alex returned for the final three of course when it was great!

Without telling me exactly when happens, does Ken, Kelly's attacker, show up in the final season? Just yes or no would be good, not if gets caught etc. That's the only loose end it seems to me. Except maybe finding out about Evan's second book. Would be nice if Simon ended up with that Irish guy.

Ken hasn't appeared in season 4.season 4 is diffrent but still has some good story lines.

Thank you for replying. I'm sure I won't be able to resist looking for it! Shame they didn't get justice put in Ken getting caught.
Never been able to find a real reason why so many cast members left. Something like Channel 4 pulled out so buget would have been cut and salaries too maybe? Were they tired of it? I know Abi wanted to work on her music career and get her album out.

their contracts expired and they didn't want to renew them.
Even Samuel Johnson at first didn't want to renew because he was getting a little bored with the role of Evan but agreed eventually to appear in season 4.

Is usually the simplest of explanations, people love to make up elaborate rumours but yeah makes sense. The characters of Gabrielle and Richie weren't as exciting as before. Shame no one even guest starred though in four? Or did they and online info doesn't tell us?

No one returned unfortunatly besides getting to see them in the special episodes 87&88 that explores the best momnets from the entire series.

Does Simon play a bigger part in the final season?
Glad someone comes to this board, surprised how quiet it is for such a fantastic series, seems a lot of people have forgotten about it or never even seen it!

Simon has a bigger part in season 4.

I thought season 4 really plumeted in quality from the start and it felt very different to the previous 3 series even with Evan hanging around for a few episodes. Kelly does stay for most of the season though. It felt like the show had really run out of steam at that point.

It does get more interesting towards the end of season 4 I think, maybe that was because I had gotten used to all the new players - but it was a very disjointed season. I'd be inclined to give it a miss.
