Was it a mistake to intentionally film this movie with crappy cameras?
When people ask why the blu-ray copy of this film looks like they're watching a VHS tape on their 4k plasma TV. The answer given by the producers of the film is it was intentionally filmed using crappy (as in *beep* cameras to emphasize the fact that it takes place in an urban environment. Well, considering every other film ever made used the best quality cameras and film available. So that in the future when upgraded to more accurate formats it would manage to retain it's original intended image and sound quality. Was it not a mistake to film this movie on $50 camcorders?
