I'm NOT a Comic Book Guy ... But

This movie, this story, this action, this cast this whole presentation Kills Me!!! I Love It!!! I don't care what any other person says about Dare Devil, it speaks to me. He's blind, he fights crime, he seeks Justice .... That's my word: Justice. "You better hope you find it before it finds you." He lives in a church. Wow!! I'm not a Comic Book Guy, but I'm there, I'm here. I'm with Dare Devil 100%, all the way. Bring it on. John

ONLY Comic Book Movie I really, really care about.

Oh, I am waiting for Superman/Batman. I'll be there for that one. ....

I agree with you .... One of the best of all the Marvel adaptations .. Affleck in the title role exceeded my expectations by miles and Farrells interpretation of bullseye can only be described as unforgettable. ....... " he made me miss.... I never miss "

You dont even need to be a comic book reader to like this movie - or any superhero flick, for that matter.

I think this is a great adaptation of the character, staying very close to the source material. I agree that it is unjustly hated on. There are a few moments that haven't aged so well, for example the soundtrack, I wish they would've used more of the score that was written for the film as opposed to the flavor of the week tunes that were out at the time...it definitely would've helped the movie age better. And aside from some cheesy moments here and there, I really have no beef with the film. I wish more people felt that way about it. (And of course I'm referring to the directors cut...the only cut in my opinion).

I've never read any of the Marvel stuff either, but I really like this movie, especially the pairing up of Daredevil and Elektra, which is kind of unique to this film. The only other comparison is arguably Batman and Catwoman in the last of the Nolan trilogy.🐭

The worst film ever made, well, apart from American Gangster that is.

Well, Riddle me this: if it's such a horrible movie, why do I keep watching it?!? Why do some things (music, movies, art, etc.) speak to you and others don't?

What makes 'a favorite' a 'favorite'??? I've written and studied on this for years...

Don't know about American Gangster, so bad I had to turn it off.. John

I've given my best to dislike this film, I swear, but I can't. If it's as bad as everybody claims then it's a guilty pleasure of mine. I simply don't understand where all this comes from, or why.

Farrell's Bullseye is just great and underrated.
