how the hell did they film the suicide scene?
It's a low budget japanese movie from 2001 and yet it's one of the most realistic suicides I have ever seen in any movie
edit: I'm referring to the girl jumping off the giant tank
You'd be surprised what can be done with a well-made set with a greenscreen. They probably had a professional stunt actor wired up properly at a separate location, had her do a controlled jump and land "face-first" on a green set and then removed the wires/ropes in post, then grafted that onto the location we see in the movie. The fact the jump is shot in a way where the jumper is very far away from the camera, makes it easier to make this all less evident.
