I hated Mara.......................her characther was awful.
She was just a bore and caused trouble and brought down Shane.
The show could have gone in so many more interesting directions if she had just been written off.
Well that was the point. She was an extremely realistic character. Loser white trash, white trash mom, insecure, possessive, playing Shane like a fiddle.
