It's absurd that they don't know each other

Three generations working at the same facility, the grandfather (Buck) with a rank of Captain, the father (Hank) with a rank of Colonel, and the son (Sonny) was a Lieutenant. They all must have been working there for quite a while to get their "officer" ranks, especially Hank. Leticia told her husband at the beginning of the movie that she has been visiting him for 11 years. Eleven years and she never once met Hank and Sonny during these visits? And in prison, especially, with death row inmates, officers such as Hank and Sonny must have known all the visitors of these inmates. These correctional officers do talk among themselves to pass on such info to each others in order to deal with the inmates' emotion when necessary. Even Buck knew who she was right after she told him her name is Leticia Musgrove.
