Does anyone else really only like the film for . . .

... Heath Ledger? His is obviously a small role but no less affecting. You can't help but feel for the character of Sonny. He never seemed to have a happy life despite his trying to make connections with people. I can't imagine how difficult an existence he must've had.

I've never felt the love for Heath Ledger.

No, but I don't really think much of this.... period. I really thought I'd like it and I do love the setting, but everyone was a caricature in this and Halle Berry's acting was awful. I can't believe she won an Oscar for this. Of course her acting was as cringe-worthy as her Oscar acceptance speech that year.

Ledger was fine, but wasn't really around long enough to make much of a difference in the film. I actually thought he had a bigger role in this movie. Anyway, disappointed in this one since it had so much potential.
