It's not as bad as some say
There are definitely King Clichés. Specially the use of Main and the bullies being over the top. Add the KA for the group of friends and you got a King story.
I like the mind storage idea. There's something to the creature design that works. The gassy and gross hosts of the parasite.
The ending wasn't perfect. I didn't care for the crazy leader. It's a silly side story for exposition.
But a 6.5/10 us reasonable. Especially with the cast. It's a good cast.
