Necklace- maybe a dumb question but...

Was the whole point to take out Sasha/Alex and get her necklace? Why not just make her "disappear" and take the necklace from her? If they wanted those other people "gone" (not sure why they would want their own lawyer gone, if she was doing a good job) why didnt they just make them "disappear" as well. Just some thoughts...

Sasha said she went into the Hypercube on her own because it was a place the IZON people wouldn't follow.

My first thought was 'she knows too much'. But then, if she suggests to settle, that means it isn't over yet. Why kill off someone who knows too much, only to have to enlighten a new attorney?
