i saw it once a few years back and again last night and it's just so intriguing. i with they'd remake it and release it in theaters.
i've never seen the original. is it any good? is it similar?

so [for the record] i just watched the original and it was amazing. i'm glad i saw the second one first though, i feel i would have been disappointed with the second if i'd seen it after. but i love them both and i feel i wouldn't have enjoyed both so much if id see the first one first.
