Did Jack get paid every time CTU pulled him back for a brief job?
If so how much?
This really bothered me. At least throw the guy a bundle of cash occasionally.
Probably several thousand dollars here and there, lol. Without spoiling too much of course:
Jack was on salary in Season 1, as he was already working for CTU at the start of the show, but left after the events of that season.
In Season 2 Jack was hired on again, and definitely paid, all the way through to 24 the Game and Season 3 where he was the head of CTU Field Operations. He left CTU again after being fired.
In Season 4 Jack had a salary working for the Secretary of Defense.
In Season 5 Jack went from job to job before seasons start, but then was hired on by CTU again, so likely paid after the events of that day, except he left the United States probably before he had a chance to collect his pay from the bank, lol.
In Season 6, Jack was not in the United States for a lengthy period leading up to the day, and only returned at the start of that day, he was likely paid after working for CTU for the events of that day.
In 24 Redemption, Jack was in Africa and likely only got paid for his work he was doing in Sangala, day to day type stuff.
In Season 7, Jack would have been paid by the FBI for his work bringing down the conspiracy and other elements.
In Season 8, Jack was yet again hired in by the reformed CTU and was likely about to be paid for his help that day, but then he went rogue and no pay was received.
In Season 9 - Live Another Day, Jack probably would have been paid for his work he did that day but then he left the country yet again at the end of this season, and was probably unable to pick up his pay.
