Departure from Anne's typical characters she chooses...

The character Anne played was a departure from other characters whom Anne normally plays.
Bijou Phillips was spot on, because she seems to always play characters like this.
But Anne Hathaway was a surprise for me.

Anybody else think this?

Bijou is a typecast skank. Plays it well. She has the look. Kinda like Raymond Cruz is a typecast gringo gangsta. Same with Noel Gugliemi, the bald guy who was in Training Day with Cruz. Literally plays the same character in every single movie.
