I know it’s my roots are planted..but I’ve always heard “lips are planted” it must be either the speed she says it or her accent or something
shareI notice that too. It's clearly "roots" in her actual song - the single and the season 1 theme song. It was re-recorded specifically as a theme song from season 2-6, and always sounded like "lips" to me.
