Favorite show until...

Jill came back from her pregnancy leave and the entire story line about her brother and mother's murder was dropped in favor of stand alone non story arc episodes.

Before she took her extended break, which delayed the start f the next season, we had a cliff hanger where she met her brother in a warehouse type setting and before they could get to it, the dreaded "TBC" appeared and that was it for the season. WELL unless I missed a bunch of stuff when the show returned Jill still was not back and they had a blond actress filling in as a new character and she and Jerry O'Co0nnell and crew carried on. When Jill did return it was as if the encounter with her brother never happened. So no "TBC"!!

Also her fathers role was greatly diminished which also irked me since I am fan of Ken Howard. Finally he vanished, too.

So, did I zone out and miss a couple eps that tied up the mothers murder and her brothers possible involvement or did the producers just drop the whole arc??
