Promising start!

I just got into this show because I loved Jill Hennessy on Law And Order and thought I might as well give a show where she starred a shot.

The first episode was very good, the second one even better! The dialogue is witty and smart and the relationships between characters are well-done. Jordan is wonderful and probably already becoming one of my favorite female television characters, and you gotta love Garrett as well. He's a little harsh to her, but he's such a sweet guy at the same time. The scenes between Jordan and her father Max are also great.

Where has this show been in my life? I remember when it was on TV all the time and I thought "Eh, probably just another disposable crime show" (I'm for example not the biggest fan of the slow-burner types of British detective shows). I was certainly wrong! I'll be watching more of this for sure.
