there were movies... and other shows?

what did I notice while getting lost in the Weinstein brothers' IMDb credits?

* Tom Bosley, the voice of David, also played the dad on "Happy Days"
* a 1987 DtG movie called The Gnomes' Great Adventure (tt0271527)

after searching Wil Huygen (author of the original book), I came up with the following:
* a 1995 DtG movie, also called The Gnomes' Great Adventure (same plot as the previous, but with different voice actors) (tt0122511)
* a 1980 animated program called Gnomes (tt0343727)
* a 1987 series called "The Call of the Gnomes" (at first glance, it appears to be the same show, but it focuses on a judge named Klaus and his assistant Danny) (tt0476099)

anybody seen these other Gnomes programs or read the books? I've only seen "David the Gnome" and didn't know there was anything else till now.

Okay, after checking out the animation studio's website (www.brb.es), I've gotten a little more info...

The 1995 movie was probably the same as the 1987 movie. I don't know why the English voices were recorded again. Maybe BRB had a dispute with Miramax or CINAR over the original English version... I dunno.

There seem to be multiple movies with Klaus the gnome, probably only in Spanish.
