I don't know if anyone can help me but I remember watching another cartoon around the same time as david the gnome, and it was about a girl and a koala bear? the koala bear lived in a tree outside her window I think? I can't remember the name of the show and is is driving me crazy!! does anyone else remember this?

That was "The Noozles". It was a really cute show, and I remember it well! I think it's listed on here under its original Japanese name.
