I clearly remember an episode that was more somber and darker than the others-IIRC,David befriends a human and gives him a certain of wishes and the human's greed takes him over;at the end David gives a voice over about how humans 'never learn' his wife Lisa was not in it, either.Does any have a clue what i am talking about? it was an odd episode!

shareWow, what a coincidence - I've been remembering an episode about a layman with a bar of gold and I kept thinking it was from "Grimms Fairy Tale Classics" which came on around the same time as David the Gnome. So I just looked up David the Gnome, and I think it's this episode! I really want to see it now :(
