I'm not saying this is the greatest movie but I think it definitely deserved a higher rating. Sorry if this has been discussed before but I'm lazy. A 5.8, especially when Eurotrip got a 6.2. Eurotrip was one of the worst teen comedies I have ever seen and Van Wilder definitely shat on it. I hope I am not the only one who sees this.

I don't know how or why it got such a low rating. My guess is that there's a lot of prudes out there who were offended by it and a lot of people who have a elitist mindset where the moment they realise it's a 'teen movie' they won't give it a chance.
Van Wilder has so many parrallels with Animal House and deserves to be equally as legendary.
