Which one would you pick?

As much as i liked Van Wilder I definitely thought "Harold and Kumar" was a better movie in all aspects( Ok there wasnt enough of Ryan Reynolds in the latter I agree). The comedy was good and the not too lighthearted take on racism was also good. Moreover I'd say Kal Penn has better chemistry with John Cho rather than Ryan Reynolds(as good as he is). Let me know what you folks feel

Both movies i think are GREAT!!! Ryan Reynolds is a great actor ive watched all of his movies and what not and i love the way he plays the characters he is, he does the same funny immpresions. I would love to see him play in alot more movies like Van Wilder, Waiting, and Just Friends. And for Harold n Kumar tht was a really good movie itself, and the Taj from Van Wilder is a great actor himeslf, but id have to say Van Wilder, more of a classic movie and Ryan Reynolds is a better main character.

I really dont know, I pick Harold and Kumar but they are both great.It's kind of like choosing between Grandma's boy and Waiting. They are both good but Harold and Kumar is just a little bit funnier.

Harold n Kumar was funny but the plot was retarded I could film that in my frontroom. VanWilder is ten times better because it has an acctuall plot, and it's funnier in all aspects... probally because it reads at a sophmore level.

"Harold & Kumar" had me laughing so much I had to replay many scenes to see what I missed. "Van Wilder" just had me chuckling most of the time, and grimacing when I wasn't chuckling.

But I agree Kal was terrific in both, but he really gets the chance to cut loose in "H&K." And Ryan's great in everything.

harold and kumar is more of a proper stoner movie which i like but the more Ryan Reynolds the better
