Wasn't that man at Richard's interview supposed to be his (spoilers)?

...father? I might be the first person in the history of Van Wilder to mention this, but most everyone assumes that the man who stops Richard on the way to the bathroom to introduce him to his "future alumni" is just one of his professors. Yes, there has to be an explanation as to why that man was able to recognize Richard right away, and I think it is supposed to be Richard's father.

In fact, if you listen really closely, you can even hear Richard say (as he's pointing to the bathroom), "No, Dad, I gotta go."

Does anyone else agree that the man is Richard's father who wanted to surprise him by being on his oral exam board?

I noticed, why else would he be as ecstatic about Richard? I noticed he said Dad too! Just adding to the embarrassment of pooping in front of his interview with Northwestern lol. Gwen would of loved to seen that, her revenge even more realized than she anticipated lol

It was his dad.

He calls him "Dad".
